A SUMMARY OF MISCELLANEOUS POINTS ABOUT A CHURCH FROM THE WORD OF GOD:
A church is to be-

  • A place to learn about Jesus and touch Him and find rest in Him.

  • A place to be filled with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.

  • A place to be Thankful, and to learn to publicly acknowledge Him.

  • A place to fellowship and share.

  • A place where believers join together, in regular attendance.

  • A place to break bread together and communion with Jesus thru Bread, Wine
    and sharing His Body (The Word).

  • A place to pray together--for those that persecute you.
    --to have the boards removed from your eye.
    --for our daily bread.
    --for the forgiveness of our sins.
    --for help to do God’s Will.
    --for God to send us out as harvesters.

  • A place to send out harvesters.

  • A place that could bring about persecution (of believers).

  • A place to publicly acknowledge Him.

  • A place to be of one mind together.

  • A place to be baptize.

  • A place to be forgiven of your sins.

  • A place of teaching, and learning, the Word and laws of God.

  • A place to learn to be aware of the “godless teachers” among you.

  • A place for feasts.

  • A place for miracles, and healing by Faith.

  • A place to give God glory.

  • A place of healing for the possessed, insane, and the sick

  • A place to share with those in need.

  • A place to praise, bow, respect, revere, and honor God the Father thru Jesus the Word of God.

  • A place to enjoy favor for all.

  • A place for prophesy.

  • A place to learn how to live and to be a light to the world.

  • A place to learn to love your enemies.

  • A place to learn to be obedient to God.

  • A place to kneel and worship Him by avoiding the world.

  • A place to be a light to the World.

  • A place to present gifts.

  • A place of speaking in tongues.

  • A place for thankfulness, waiting, and anticipation.

  • A place to present gifts, take care of the poor, the widows, and the orphans.

  • A place to realize that all belongs to God.

  • A place to give God Praise, Honor, and Glory.

  • A place to recognize God’s Power, Kingdom, and Glory.
